I am off to Munich, Monza, and an F1 Race!

    Hey guys-
I have been up since 4:30am today. I drove down to Burbank with George Graves for my 7:55am flight to Vegas then on to Chicago. I am here at my Aunt/uncles house and I fly out tomorrow afternoon for Munich. I am so excited!! I have never been to Germany before, I am so stoked. I am driving down to Monza Italy for the F1 race this weekend and then back up to Munich for a few more days, then back home thursday.

I will try and periodically upload pictures from my Journey in this folder:

This morning when I was almost to the airport, I spotted some Euro BMW's in a lot off the road. We decided to pull over and snap a few shots. This place has some Uber-Rare cars!! I will let the pics speak for themselves.
I will try and get as many pics as I can from Germany.

Not sure if you know, but the museum at the BMW factory in Munich is closed (according to dad, who works there). I think they relocated everything to this little place not too far from it. Just so you know, when ya get there. Also, when you leave the airport, one of the first things you'll see on the road is a big BMW sign..they paid 2 million DM to put that bad boy up there. Just a little useless knowledge you learn from having family in the kompanija. :D

Are you renting a car there? If not, you should. There are some unbelievable roads all over Germany. If you get a chance, head down to the Black Forest. SICK roads.

Hell yeah there were nice roads there! Unfortunatly I was in a motor home, not my host family's 330i. But, I did see plenty of bikers tearing up the roads while they passed us

This place was AMAZING - almost everything was SO SO SO SO euro.

Don't know how the hell he collected all these cars - there no way it's customers cars.

Uber rare stuff there - Like a 2002 fast back (or was it the 1602 or what ever...)

Anyways - cars I have never seen before!

Think I'll make a stop on my way back down there in a week or so...

Have a great trip! I used to Live near Imports Unlimted it's great place! My second BMW was a 72 2002Tii it was inca and was virtually perfect, had 45k in 1980. The mini 3.0 alloys were really cool it was my favorite car ever!

                  Thanks for the pictures!

I just look at the fact that they are 16" and I give it the benefit of the doubt. You my friend, need a life.

the giveaway is sharp edges and the locking cap.

That only counts for US cars though as internationally there are 3 different copies that are almost impossible to tell from the real thing.

Have fun Ryan (Im sure you will), Im planning on doing that next summer but I wont get to see F1 at Monza.
                            Im now E30less.

                              Greetings From Monza Italy!
I am having a blast over here with my dad. We rented an Opel Vectra 4dr 2.2l Turbo Diesel. Pretty decent car, cruise at 110-120MPH no problem.
I am getting lots of pics, I got 2 disposible cameras and my digital camera which I will use until the battery dies.
Hope everyone is having fun, I sure am. Some of the cars over here are insane!
I have seen an E46 M3 CSL, Tons of 997 P-Cars, and lots of other bimmers (120i, tourings all over the place!)
I will try and see if I can find a wrecking yard for some goodies.
                              Later guys!
