I can think of a number of reasons this is a bad idea.

I love the 4 headrests. I've done that mod to my vert although it's not in my sig pic, it makes the car look so much better.

I've gotten nothing but positive feedback from everyone who has seen it.

I guess it's not for everyone though.

Was the spare in either of those cars posted? I don't have my spare in and I get worried about it sometimes.

I had the spare in my car, yes.

                  Why?

Rumor is that the spare - or the spare tire well and the spare are part of the rear crumple safety feature of e30's

Yea, and it looked like yours stopped about where the wheel would be. Doesn't mater I guess my car is pretty low so anything decent sized should clear my bumper and take me out.

Yeah, my car was lowered as well but I was still able to pull the spare tire out after the accident.

Good to know, and as I remember from your accident thread you weren't really banged up too bad or anything. Still gets me scared in rush hour traffic cause people don't pay attention I now keep a huge gap in front of my car.

No, I was just a little stiff.

Keep in mind though I did see it coming and I did brace myself.

my spare was also in the car, and the rim was badly pinched, almost oval shaped and cracked , it was not removable from the trunk
