DB look just as good as plastic when the rubber is paint matched.

just FYI, youll know its a true euro if you take a look at the VIN number platr on the dash. If it run paralell with the dash, then its a US spec car with euro goodies. If it runs pointing at the steering wheel, then its Euro spec.

So your saying the vin is going to be vertical instead of horizontal to the dash?

Honestly, I don't mind diving boards. However, the only thing that has prevented me from swapping to Euro bumpers is the stock early IS Air Dam. It looks so good.

I'm not a big fan of plastic bumpers. When GM started putting plastic bumpers on Corvette's starting in 1973, it was the last time we would see them with chrome bumpers.

The DB's on Cabby's aren't bad as they are tucked a bit and don't stick out so far, and the bumper surrounds are body color.

If I were to swap, it would be for some nice chrome Euro's, not for plastic.

I just need to sand and paint my 1987 325is air dam and install it as it's been sitting in my garage for over a year...

Maybe over the XMas/New Year's holiday.

I think euro bumpers are a step above plastics. Since they are rare in the US and tons of cars have plastic bumpers.
