How to tow a E30 ? (urgent)

I already heard that it was unsafe to tow a e30 by lifting the rear wheel and let the front wheel on the ground. Is it true ?

Remove the driveshaft and tow it by the front would be the other way. If you're into manual labor on the side of the road....

i was supose to do 80 km, but i will only do 20km.

I finally call a flatbed. 120$ cnd for 20 km

good call on the flat bed, other wise tow dolly works great but any tow truck that picks your car up from the front and drags the back is going to

1. possible crack your pan
2. rip both your motor mounts
3. destroy any valance you might have

The previous owner of my car towed my car on all four wheels using a tow bar behind an RV. I once towed it 800 miles on a tow dolly carrying the front wheels. I now tow it about 2000 miles a year on a full size car hauler. All are viable options and I've never had a towing related problem. As long as the transmission is in neutral and the car isn't all wheel drive, leaving wheels on the ground won't put any more wear on the car than if you had driven the vehicle the same distance.

Flat bed and a two sets of 2 x 4s, well you'll need the 2 x 4s if you are low.

Even doing that mine still barely made it up without dragging the bumper.

My last tow was on a dolly, front wheels in the air, rear dragging in neutral. I was scared shitless, my rear was only maybe 3" off the ground, but he got there fine, not a scratch on the car. He was being really careful though, one of the few good tow truck drivers.
