    They cut corners, tried to use a 1960's recovery technique, and it didn't work.

    Hasn't been a good couple of years for NASA.

            I dunno, parachutes have managed to keep me from breaking up into peices on the surface of the earth a few times. Maybe its because I am not worth a billion dollars.

            "it has broken apart on the desert floor" , why not on the desert ceiling? Or the desert wall?

              Interesting you bring this up, I got this from a "breaking news" email from CNN.com. Is it only breaking news because: "it has broken apart on the desert floor" Would it not be breaking news otherwise?
