Im talking about a stock motor. If your talking about modding on top of the swap then shure it could be fast. I saw a gti 1.8t with bigger turbo, intake,chip, exaughst system, and some other bolt on. He ran somewhere in the 13 to 14 rang.

I think I'd do an LS7. Hand built, dry sumped, outlandish power, all aluminum, heads are 8V each so they're very compact and lower the car's CG, and a longblock can be ordered from jegs.com.

About the same as audis little piece of shit 2.0T. Those motors are crap and expensive. My brother in law has a a4 2.0T he returned with in 4 months because of how many problems it had.
