Stuck bleeder screws

I needed to use a pressure bleader on my M3 after it sat for a few months with no fluid-- the ghetto way wasn't doing anything for it.

Is what I said when I got the other 3 out, heat and them working them back and forth lightly with vise grips. Fuck the back left i'll just take the caliper off my 325 and put it on there.

Does anyone know if you have to do anything special to bleed the ABS unit?

I can only quote GM spec, but they say never to open calipers with the bleeder closed. They want you to spew the dirty fluid out of the caliper so no debris gets to the ABS pump.

Well I don't think there is dirty fluid in the ABS pump. It's all clean brand new fluid. I just need to know if I need to bleed the ABS pump some way.

I bled them, it was solid as a rock and then I started the car up, and then it went soft again.

I guess I need to pressure bleed it.

To bleed the ABS system, you need a special tool to cycle the plumps. Or you can bleed the brakes and then go drive the car and slam on the brakes. Basically all you need to do is engage the ABS a few times. This will pump fluid into and through the ABS pump. It may not be necessary though.

And of course, don't be stupid and do this on public streets. Find a nice big empty parking lot and do it there if at all.

Is there anyway to actuate the pump while the car is stopped?

Drove it around the block, the ABS works, the pump turned on, but no fluid drop, so no air there.

I'm guessing master cylinder maybe, I'm going to try pressure bleeding them.
