I have a bad ball joint that needs fixed first, but otherwise:

    -new custom exhaust including headers
    -better intake setup
-subsequent retune (learned a lot since I was last on a dyno)
-clean up my MS installtion a little bit
-finally put in some of the suspension stuff I've had forever
    -new track wheels

most importantly, I need to build a new garage to fit said E30 in. hoping to do that this summer, time permitting. and I still really need new seats, so I'll be on the lookout for a deal.

      For mine.... let's see:

Chip, exhaust, injectors, v/c gasket, adjust rockers, suspension overhaul. Hoping to get done by spring since I'd like to start taking some car-control courses.

-Replace front core support and valence
          -Get other project running
          -Install 24v
-Try to go a year without hitting something

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

                    What for 2009?

First rebuild from fender bender in the ice, I have my parts car, now I am raising the money to pull the right front of the frame rail.

As I rebuild and have the front off,
                    install the inter cooler
                    complete repaint Schwarz
Recover the front and rear seats in Cardinal Red leather as original, without the splits and holes.
install my m3 offset control arm bushings
                    install 30lb injectors
                    buy and install Megasquirt system
upgrade the rest of the suspension

Most of this beside body work and paint will run later into 2010

                      Hi to all E30 Fan,

I am a new member of this board and I write first time about my comming project on an open forum.

I own a E30 325i two doors and I am planing to build a E30 M3 Wannabe. I already bought the parts, like fenders, trunk, rear window frame. On the way are the side skirts, rear bumper, trunk spoiler with adjustable carbon wing.

I keep the engine m20b25 for sure. I am a big fan of the M3 body shape and for me is enough the 170 bhp.

Hope to start the project in a few weeks. My car is now DiamondBlack and I will repaint it to NogaroSilver. I have RH ZW1 rims in 8,5x17 and 9,5x17 on the car, maybe I will keep the wheels but it could be that I will sell them and will put some sporty wheels on the car. If I keep the wheels I will paint the middle of them darker grey to much the body color.

I hope everything will looks fine at the end and I can reach the quality what is very important in this project because the car is a masterpiece now and don't want to make crap of it...

So wish me guys luck I need that for sure ;) thats my plan for 2009.

                        my plans are:
sort out the pulled threads in my head for my rocker cover
                        bilstein b8s
                        smaller steering wheel
                        shorter steering rack
                        refurb my rs'
                        polybush the whole car
                        new control arms
                        new arb drop links
some minor bodywork, theres 2 dents in my passenger quater panel that are wrecking my head

if i get all of that done, ill be fairly happy.
