Is it me or do the e30 jacks blow?

I tried that and i made a little ramp thing to drive up on them but everytime i tried it i just ended up pushing it forward. To the OP: Thankfully ive only had to use the factory jack once but it is pretty much useless unless your on a flat surface because it has no lateral support at all.

Go buy the cheap $5 rubber floor mats from walmart and cut them up and glue them to the bottom of your ramps.

Or just put the floor mats under the ramps everytime you want to use the ramps.



This is what I use, with silicone vinyl adhered to the bottom. They are called "NRG Slope Box"

I would make my own but this one is just the right size (barely fits) and I got a pair for free.

I have used them and I must say they are a great jack when put up against the other stock ones I have used.

Mine works fine; I use it when I'm adjusting the camber plates and suck. My car is also low enough that most scissor jacks just don't fit.
