maybe the illiterate people in Washington don't realize that saying interstate this, interstate that is redundant.

Okay you're going to hop onto California State Route 60 westbound, then merge onto California State Route 10, then take it all the way down past interstate 605, and interstate 710 until you see interstate 5, take interstate 5 northbound until you see california state route 134, take it westbound, then take interstate 2 down to interstate 405, exit and then take california highway 1
Socal:
take the 60 west, merge onto the 10 west, go past the 605 and the 710, take the 5 north to 134 west, then take the 2 southbound to the 405, exit, and then hop on PCH
