The tire puncture certainly did not help Rubins, thats not to say it cost him the race. Just dumb luck that has always come around for Rubins at Brazil. I would of rather seen him win yesterday than win the championship -
I'm not feeling bad for Rubinho because I wanted it to go to the final race, I don't really care about Bernie's pet project, Abu Dhabi.(though I might if it turns out to be a good track which is doubtful)
Rubinho is kinda like the Red Socks until recently or the Cubs, it would have been an extremely special moment if he had won the whole thing. I am not a Button fan either so I was hoping for Vettel or Rubinho to say the least.
As for a battle between Vettel or Rubinho for 2nd place? I don't think they care at all about that, they will only care about how they finish the race since it isn't for the championship anymore. I find it kinda funny though for the 3rd year in a row, McLaren and Ferrari are separated by 1 point after Interlagos.Leave a comment:

Let's be realistic folks.. the tire puncture wasn't what killed Rubens' chances of winning the race. His performance was pretty sub-par, constantly being below the pace. (Until the tire puncture happened.... 3/4 of the race already completed)
People are "feeling bad" for Rubens because they wanted to see a fight for the championship in the final race.Leave a comment:

i feel bad for rubens too.. like someone mentioned on speed, always the bridesmaid, never the bride..come on, you know both Vettel and Rubens wanted 1st, im more bummed about Rubens, its been what 17 races and the dude has yet to win at home? and its not like he has a long career ahead of him.
anywho, about the two Fins, how crazy was that, oh and not to forget that a BMW was on the podium in 2nd place. hahaLeave a comment:

I think Trulli freaked out because he knows he almost died. From the replay, after he spun from exiting the turn on the grass, he was headed perpendicular to traffic, straight into the wall. Halfway across the track, he clipped someone (I guess it was Sutil) and it sent him into the wall at a much better angle. If he had hit that wall straight on it would have been every bit as massive an impact as Kubica's crash in Canada a couple years ago.Leave a comment:

As usual Interlagos provides some great racing. Can't believe the way Trulli freaked out on Sutil, hardly Sutil's fault.
Congrats to Button for finally sealing the deal.Leave a comment:

Now this was a great race! Great driving by Jenson. Good job by Webber, Kubica and Vettel moved up from the back nicely as well!
Crazy moment with Heidfield spilling fuel in Kimi's path....
Poor Rubens.Leave a comment:
