Todt wins, 135-49. 12 votes disallowed/abstained
The future doesn't look good, in my opinion.

Bernie is a (big) shareholder of the company that holds the commercial rights to F1. Technically, I think he can be fired by the board, but he has made them all so much money that this will never happen.Leave a comment:

Don't really care who gets elected as long as they don't act as disconnected with the world as Max. Does anyone know how Bernie gets replaced? I heard it had something to do with a board or something.Leave a comment:

It's political B.S. The election for the new FIA president is Friday - to replace Max Mosley. Vatanen says he wants to bring sweeping changes to the politics of motorsport. Todt is considered a continuation of what Max has been doing.
I don't really get into it much, I just pick up on it from the F1 websites.Leave a comment:

Yeah, as much as people talk crap about this year like it wasn't exciting, it has been one of my favorites, because you never knew who was going to do great at this race or that one. I mean Force India pole and 2nd at Spa? WTF? Brawn wins both championships, Redbull 2nd, it just goes on all the strange things that happened this season and I think it is better for it. Next year however I think it will return to the usual.Leave a comment:

here is another interesting fact, everyone on the grid (ok ok, every team) has scored points. I think for the past 3 or 4 years there were always teams that did not score any points and this year every one has some.Leave a comment:

Unless Williams returns to form next year which I somehow doubt they will....Leave a comment:

i feel bad for him for 2 reasons a) he still didn't win at interlagos which he desperately wants to and b) this was probably his last solid chance at a championship shot. he is 37 after all.Leave a comment:
