Yeah, this couldn't have come at a worse time though with his future prospects in F1 just on the rise and he was literally fighting for his place in the sport.Leave a comment:

It was a big hit that Glock took. I was just very glad to see him moving.Leave a comment:

Glock is not racing at Interlagos due to his injury at Suzuka. http://www.formula1.com/news/headlin.../10/10075.html
Kobayashi will take his place. Kinda weird how serious this turned out to be after they thought he could race at Suzuka but were just going to be safe rather than sorry.Leave a comment:

Kimi may end up being the odd man out. He could end up in a nonfactory ride.Leave a comment:

The only thing that motivates Kimi is a good car. Of course he'll also need to feel like driving that particular day, be fond of the circuit, and half a dozen other things; otherwise he's content with a 5th or 6th and fastest lap.Leave a comment:

I agree, I mean he hasn't started achieving for Ferrari this year until well after the car was competitive at all, obviously he just needs a little motivation which I can understand.Leave a comment:

Agreed. A smaller team like RB might motivate him to perform up to his potential. Kimi as the underdog could be a very feisty hound.Leave a comment:

Most ludicrous rumor of driver changes I have seen, yet the one I would probably like the most(no disrespect to Webber) http://www.planetf1.com/story/0,1895...618510,00.htmlLeave a comment:

That whole incident was Lewis Hamilton's fault though hahahaha, everyone knows that.Leave a comment:

I like Hamilton, I think he is a great driver and this season has shown he is learning how to setup a car. He benefited greatly his first year from Alonso but this year he has shown he can help develop a car. I thought Hamilton was the best wet weather driver until Vettel schooled him in Brazil. Wet weather shows who has the best feel for a car, an area Massa has realy improved in. I remember last year, or 2 years ago Massa he spun like 5 time at Monaco I want to say..
I hope Kubica does well at Renault as he is my favorite driver. I love how people say he bitches,,, if someone asks how the car is? and its shit, i see nothing wrong with saying so. All he does is tell the truth if you ask me.Last edited by naplesE30; 10-08-2009, 10:39 AM.Leave a comment:

You mean when he rear-ended Webber and took them both out of the race?Once again I would argue that Vettel is the best driver in poor conditions. One needs only look at Brazil last year where he passed Lewis' McLaren in a Toro Rosso and almost gave Massa the championship. Also you have Japan in his first year as well as China, and his win at Monza last year in a Toro Rosso in the wet. The kid ist Der Regenmeister. But yes, Lewis is ONE of the best in wet conditions. I don't know if it is his strategy or what but Heidfeld always seems to benefit from rain as well.
I wonder how bad off Brawn will be next year though, I mean they won't have the defuser advantage to help them like they did at the beginning of this year when they were dominant. It also seems they haven't been able to keep up with development as well as the other teams so I would say most of their strength this year comes from the fact that they wrote off last year and worked so much longer on this year's car than the other teams. Next year they will not have the same advantage and I wouldn't be surprised to see them around where Toyota is this year come next season.
I'm a huge Vettel fan, don't get me wrong, but I don't think he is THE BEST in wet weather. I still think LH is THE BEST.Leave a comment:
