Predictions for Monza? I am hoping for Vettel to win, with possibly Heidfeld in the top 5.

Where are the top teams in respect to the two-races-per-engine rule? It was commented during the race in Belgium that both Spa and Monza are known engine breakers. For those teams going into this weekend with one race on their engine already, I would suspect some concern is lingering in the pits given this next circuit has you on full throttle 70+% of every lap.

Jon
they now have 8 engines and they can run them in any order they want. can swap out engines from practice to quali to race. as long as they dont go beyond the 8 engines there is no penalty.

I would like to see Fisi win, just because he deserves more success than what he's received in F1 (and he's a pretty nice guy--emphasis on the nice, not the pretty). I doubt that he'll do much of anything in a new car on a track like that. Unfortunately, I won't be able to catch much of the action since I'll be at the Watkins Glen vintage event all weekend.
So who here thinks that the FIA is stupid enough to disqualify Renault from the Singapore results last year, bumping everyone under Alonso up one position? Who here thinks the FIA is stupid enough to analyze the running order pre-Piquet shunt and call the race with that classification? I have no idea what the running order was at that moment, but it seems like something they would do. Does anyone think Renault (if found guilty) will be banned from F1 in the future? Would this include engine supply deals too? (Sir Frank may be a bit upset about that)

I've been busy the last few weeks, so I haven't closely followed the internet speculation regarding the Piquetgate situation. Below is a good review of the entire situation if you've got 20-25 minutes to spare.

Yep, good read and very interesting look at data. Makes it clear how easy it is for them to figure out when rear wheels were not spinning at the same right as front.
Good read!
