    Since im bored at work...

Odd to see Vettel struggle as much as he did. The RBR car must not have much mechanical grip, seeing as how it burned through the super soft tires in the first stint [all while holding up a long line of cars] If you go back and look at the times, he set the 18th fastest time, well below his team mate who set the 3rd fastest lap [by 2.3sec]

Ferrari is back on form. Cant wait for them to make up some more ground as it looks like their diffuser has not really changed. When they develop a 'double diffuser' they should be fighting for the win.

Speaking of which, i feel pretty confident in saying that had Kimi got around Rubins than he may of had a shot at Button. Likewise, had Massa made it past a couple guys sooner he would of been right up there. Massas times during the second stint reminded me why he is my favorite.

    p.s. - Hamilton is a chump

I think the differences in fastest times was due more to rubbering in, as Vettel was on the board for 8 fastest times when he went out. He was much too aggressive on the tires through, truely sad to see the Red Bull strategy not work for them again. Turkey should be a lot better for them though.

Vettel should have been much faster than the Ferrari of Massa and the cars behind him.

I do agree that he could have put down some better times that he did as the race went on, but i dont think he would of placed any better that 7th.

You are probably correct, don't know what was up but Horner said Red Bull knew they wouldn't do well there and are looking to improve greatly at Turkey and Silverstone. I can say that I hope he is right, I want this season to be at least close if Vettel doesn't win :(

Hmmm seems Toyota is bailing out at the end of this season and a last minute deal has been made with $100million caps and 1 set of rules.

Planet F1 seems to be a constant cesspool of unsubstantiated rumors.

                Autosport.com > Planet F1.

I read an article yesterday that said it was to be 100 down to 45 million?

                    ^I would hope so, it's FOM's site!

Apparently 15 teams have put their bid in for teams with EE still undecided on whether they will place an entry.

Lola, Prodrive, LiteSpeed joined USF1 and Campos along with the current 9 FOTA teams today and Williams.

Ok so from reading on F1Live and the BBC F1 site, all the current teams have signed up for next year. but is there anywhere I can find a list of all the new teams coming on board. i read some stuff about Prodrive, Lola and Aston, but nothing official.

Hmmm, I hope the remaining teams of the FOTA continue to EAD and and stick with their conditional entries.

Williams and Force India submitted non-conditional entries, and I believe 8 new teams have submitted applications.

I love that big teams are running scared at the thought of having to be ingenious vs. being able to spend literally tens of millions on CFD simulations and the like.

Yay! Vettel P1, then Brawn 2-3 and Webber 4. Should make for an interesting race tomorrow, too bad it is delayed until 3:00pm here in the states.

Let me start by saying that I caught the last 5 or 6 laps of the race today (not wanting to watch it 7 hours later than the rest of the world,) so I am not yet up on all of the happenings of the race. On lap 52 or 53, why in the hell did RBR tell Vettel that Webber was going faster than he was? I mean, I like RBR and Webber both, but why not let the driver who is carrying more points into the race go past his teammate? Was this one of the most bizarre uses of team orders publicly displayed or was it a safety measure regarding Vettel's tires/fuel load? It makes zero sense to me, and Fox didn't air the post-race conference, so I was wondering if anyone here could rationalize RBR's move since Vettel was clearly going quicker than Webber.

Oh, good on BMW for getting both cars to the end. Slowly but surely I think they'll get both cars in the points consistently.

remeber what happened to Vettel when he fought for a single extra point in Australia? Now imagine you are RBR and you think about that with both cars belonging to your team . . . .
