why do e30 exhausts suck?

Check out Ebay.de. The 'Supersport' brand looks and sounds like Stromung(search supersport e30 auspuff) for about 300euro and you can choose from about 25 diff tips.....

i have a stromung cat-back with no cat and it sounds very good through the whole RPM range.

Its a little on the loud side though, i would say 8 or 9.

Had an Eisenmann on my old 325i - great sounding exhaust. They are expensive though - am considering one for my 323i but would prefer a straight exit rather than the slanted exit.

the only good one is discontinued (Stromung), everything else is meh for sound or quality....

why can't stromung start production again.

You just completely missed my group buy on the Stromung, second group buy actaully.

My shop is right next door to Stromung, and I am the only shop that distributes the Stromung E30 325is cat back. All the big shops are under the impression the E30 is dead. When I recently did the first group buy, it was the first time Stromung produced the E30 cat back in almost 8 years.

There will be another group buy coming up in summer if your interested. The first group buy sold 12, the second sold 13 units.

I appreciate the info, I just wish I still had my E30. Sold it last June :( however I did just buy a Stromung for my E36 last month, and it is finally being delivered on Tuesday.

Did you replace the mounting hardware when you installed it? I remember seeing it moving all over the place when you drove over literally nothing.

I like the remus catback. I snagged one for 300 bucks in very good condition. It is pretty quiet though, when you get on it you can hear it, but as soon as you back off there is zero drone. After aircare i`ll probably ditch the cat, then it should be perfect. The dual 3.5`tips look great as well. I strongly recommend

ill probably be selling the whole exhaust soon for like $100 if anyone wants it
its dented to shit and has a broken weld, but it still sounds awesome ;)
