Mr. Bangle's designs really grew on me. I LOVE the E60... he was an asset to BMW and a true visionary.

Ahh I remember MY first beer...
Any way Bangle was chief of design since 92, meaning he has had significant input on BMW's since then, not just the "Bangle Butts." As far as bringing back the e30, not gunna happen. Maybe they can make a small car again but it's not going to be anywhere near as light, raw, or dispensable as the e30. Wasn't that kinda what they were shooting for with the 1 series? As far as most important, it's the current ones. If they don't sell, no more bmw. You buying a car they made profit off of 20 years ago doesn't exactly help them out.

I see what your saying but it seems like everything is getting bigger. If they did make one I think it would be unrecognizable. I mean looks at the new Mini's. Sure it looks similar but it's twice the weight, quite a bit bigger, with all sorts of features killing the minimalism of the original. Old mustang enthusiasts don't normally like new mustangs. The new challenger is nothing short of gay. The new chargers are neat in only the srt 8 formation. I would expect the new e30 to fail.
