Two front wheels up and over a curb when i ran out of talent. Fat crack up the side near the level sensor.

I did a really good write-up on how to change your pan, it's on Fred Kim's site.

hairline crack RIGHT F'in next to the oil drain plug.
I have no idea of when I hit something to cause it
I went to my car @ work to see the infamous trail of oil.
This was after going to get lunch and not scraping anything afaik
JB Weld rescued it & is holding up fine for more than 2 Mos now
A few days later, I raised up the car
3" of clearance from the oil pan to the road is not cool

ON the brighter side...I have a lower oil pan which is easier to change :P
when I make up my mind m42 > m20 in this aspect

I threw my car into a ditch. Oilpan is still cracked to this day.

AndreNY used to put this oil pan on with fucken zip ties becuase he would brake them so often that this was easier for him, i think he broke 5 or something like that.

if you were to knock a hole into the pan and the oil took vacation, how long would hte engine run before stopping? Quick enough to surprise you or would you have enough time to turn the engine off, go to neutral and get off the road?
