Best way to remove ALL dirt off wheels?

Brake cleaner and a scotch pad.

I've used the Purple Power stuff before - capable of removing quite a bit. Be sure to wear some gloves since this product (along with a number of these solvents/cleaners) will chew up your hands afterwards. The brake cleaner and carb cleaner suggestions might work as well depending on what you're trying to remove. In the past I tried cleaning up a set wheels where the finish was thrashed. I tried various cleaners and a power washer yet they still wouldn't completely clean up. Media blasting was the only real solution.
