I have headers, single 2.5" custom piping, brand new SMALL cat, new resonator, and new magnaflow dual out muffler. I drove it for a full 3 days with the muffler on and just couldn't take it anymore. Went back to the shop and had them add the resonator.

I don't mind loud exhaust, but I can't take it when it drones around 3-4k rpm. Now it just sounds low and mean.

Mine is too loud for my taste, but came that way. Small generic "weld in" cat after factory manifolds, tubing looks to be 2 1/4", and the muffler is one of those "DTM style fully polished" cheapies off the ricer rack down at the muffler shop.

I get lots of compliments from the ricer kids, which means some things need to change.

Brodee, what resonator? I have been asking muffler shops what they have to offer, but I lack experience in the whole resonator technology field.

Not sure what kind it was. I just took it to them and told them to add the smallest one they had.

mine is pretty quiet.. but I drove a '67 dart with dual 40 series flowmasters and 2.5" exhaust for 5 years.. so I've already had my fill of loud, obnoxious exhausts. I'll stick to what I have now, thanks (especially considering the amount of time I spend in my car).

My car is loud when I get on the throttle, and quiet when just cruising. The perfect setup. (and from what I hear from other, it sounds absolutely wicked on track  )

Oh yeah, its: Stahl headers, 2 Borla mufflers (Turbo and XR-1) inline. All connected with 3" pipe 8) Go Borla

I don't have radio, but I can hear my CD's just fine over anything my car throws at it. I can BARELY hear my phone, even with a in ear headset on the highway @ 75mph in 5th.
