The wonders of the iX

As some of you may have heard, Minneapolis got hit with a big snow storm today. I have spent the majority of my evening out driving in the crappy (but spectacular) weather. All I have to say is, I REALLY love my iX. The traction is excellent and the rally-style drifts are just way too much fun! I know this thread would be much better with pics but I didnt take any.. But I had to share my joy with everyone else. Its great to get my car out in the conditions it was built for!! :D

with the proper snow tires ix is the tank !

I put new Nokian snow tires on my IX in December and it has been an unbelievable machine in the snow this year.

Yes my car is a tank in the snow for sure. It will go places some trucks cant go. If I had more clearance this thing could do some serious off roading.

we had a freak snowstorm 2 days ago. I had my Toyo R888s mounted... sorta caught with my pants down. Surprisingly, they weren't the worst tire I've had on the car in the snow. Made it home no problem, even drove on roads that were completely covered in ice. Try that in a RWD E30 and see how far you get :)

i love my iX, I have all season tires and have never had a problem, if I spin its because Im trying to :)
