daimler was down 0.15 euros today, where the hell are you guys getting your news?
this was friday:
Carmaker Daimler said Friday that it expects to pay about $700 million in back taxes in mid-2009, with the payment expected to be cash-neutral. Additionally, the firm said that its Mercedes-Benz unit sold 72,200 vehicles in February, down 25% from the 96,800 vehicles it sold in the same month in 2007. Sales in China rose 17% to 3,000 units, while U.S. sales fell 24% to 14,200 passenger cars. Shares rose 5% in Frankfurt on Friday afternoon.Leave a comment:

Same here, not much being bantered about in regards to this. Plus there are two words which ought to set off the alarm: Der Spiegel. Germany's version of the National Inquirer.

Eww, I don't want MB tainting BMW with it's ideas... "Manual transmissions? Nahh, no one wants those anymore!" "Performance vehicles? Oh, is that where we develop a rediculously powerful engine and put it in a 5 ton brick with power-adjustable leather cupholders inside the trunk?"
God I hate Mercedes... Hopefully it won't be like Ford's partial stake in Mazda where they just steal all Mazda's cars and engines because they can't build any of their own for s**t.Leave a comment:

Why do we care, all the BMWs I'll ever need/want are already built.
And it seems like a crappy way to have a safety net, but I don't know anything about how things work so it might be a good idea, I don't know.Leave a comment:
