My rule is - Never buy a car from someone who can't form correct sentences.

My 2nd rule is - Never buy a car from someone who can't take the time to list details about the car in the for sale ad.

Equal rights should be all or nothing, not picked and chosen based on what's convenient for ones personal agenda.

I emailed her awhile ago. This car has been on craigslist for some time now.
She has no records whatsoever, and she doesn't seem to know exactly what she has. She thinks that because it's an E30 M3 it should command a high price, let alone a salvage title, mismatched paint, high miles, and overall beater E30 M3.
She kept trying to convince me to come out and see it.
The best thing that this car could become would be a bonafide track rat, and that will take a lot of money.

most importantly, why is it considered a salvage?

only a die-hard e30m3 fanatic would save that. I hope to be one some day

i would love to get an m3 that cheap. well considering the body is straight. closest i was to buying one was on ebay. the wiring harness was all chopped up from engine swaps and the car was hit in the side needing a door and a rear quarter panel. it still went for 7k. too rich for my blood

never buy a 6k e30 m3 unless you're a masochist or are going to part it
