so the guy lowered the price to 3900 but i also KBB'd the car and kbb only goes back to 89 not 88 and the value im EXECLENT condition is worth max of 1800. with all parts included max of 3200 sound reasonable or is that even to much?

3900 for a supereta is way to much.

If your looking for advice, you've come to the wrong place. Many people here know a LOT about e30's but they'll all dick you around and give you bad info cause i guess its amusing

since this dumbass annoyed me ill give you a some what better answer.

for the price its not bad. he has that much in "mods". but unfortunatley "mods" dont mean crap and dont hold their value.

if the car has verified mileage. its a FAIR price for a modded car. just be aware, he has probably drove it like its a modded car. id take the car to a shop and have a pre purchase done to make sure its not going to fall apart on you in a few months. then id carfax AND autocheck it to verify mileage and if its really a clean title.

if it all checks out it could be a DECENT purchase for a first e30. it has suspension which is a plus and looks like the brakes were done.

most of those "mods" are pretty worthless. also, it's an eta - you could build a budget 2.7i out of it since it's an 88, but 4k for an eta with a bunch of ricer mods is stretching it.

well thanks for the advice. i know the mods value doesnt mean squat. i have had a few other sports cars. sadly like you said he probably drove it like a doucher. i was looking at it just because its one of the only ones relitively close to me

get a stock one first so you can learn the underpinnings of this legendary chassis.
this way, with a clean, un modified e30 you can see how this car is supposed to run and you can diagnose what goes wrong after mods.

If your looking to track race it then you should probably look for a 318is or 325is. Better start for a track car. Oh, and E30's don't have cupholders so you will probably damage the tofu.
