That is what scares me about putting rims and new suspension on my 325e, too many kids get their cars stolen no matter where it is around here. But again they are almost all tuner cars that get stripped.

My best advice is to find a good cop at the local PD that will actually help you guys find it, they are either gonna strip it down and part it out or sell it as is somewhere. Your friend may have a chance of finding it but it's not gonna be easy.

stolen cars are a weekly occurance on my Type R board. We should consider ourselves lucky e30s arent nearly as desirable to thieves

I know a few people with master keys that open Type R, and other civics and tegs. I would hate to have a type R.

This is the M3 I have known to be stolen out of a garage in Toronto, the other was an e36 though.

That is really unfortunate to hear. Obviously the person(s) behind this knew two things: 1) how to make quick work of stealing a car, and 2) the value of E30 M3s. There is a good chance this car is already in pieces and its been sold off.

That really sucks! If someone stole my S4 I have gap insurance and could always go get a new one but a clean E30 isn't easy to replace.
