one of my favorite quotes of all time, was said by the man, himself...

Couldn't say it better myself, I've sold him a few parts over the years. Very sad news indeed.

Very sad to hear of his passing. Would always search (r3v / jlevie) for his comments when researching e30 problems on our cars. What a vast encyclopedia of e30 knowledge he accumulated and shared selflessly, e30 jedi master fits perfectly. Did not know the man but have a huge amount of respect for the way he operated.
          RIP

Massive loss for the e30 community. I have taken his word as bond on countless projects and have never been led astray.

Rest In Peace Jim. Thank you.

I suspected that something bad was happening to Jim. He always responded to cries for help. I wish that I could have met the guy. I am sure that he had had a great life. Wouldn't it be great if in the next lives he would be my neighbor?

Sorry to hear, hard to ignore his answers when they were in most threads you would read and were spot on.

Hope you've got your dream e30 with you in heaven Jim

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

Jim was, in the truest sense, a gentleman and a scholar.
                    He is missed.

Rip Jim, you helped me by getting my e30 started with your checklist.
