Pix of the new iX with my iS

I found this 1989 325iX for my mom. We've been looking for a clean auto 4 door 325i for her, which apparently are hard to find! I bought it from the original owner who has kept all the service records. It's been maintained quite well aside from the timing belt being overlooked. It hadn't been changed since 98, although it hadn't been drove a lot since then. I didn't want to take any chances so I towed it and changed it first thing, along with the water pump, distributor cap + rotor, v-belts, thermostat and hoses. The transfer case was replaced about 50k miles ago so hopefully it will hold up for a while. It has a little ding in the front passenger door and some rock chips on the hood. Other than that it is in remarkable condition. I just need to source some original iX weaves. The previous owner said his son put them on his VW... It still has the spare in the trunk.

The day we picked her up:

Nice iX!!!! Indeed!! Wow that thing looks clean! How repulsive that its autotragedy, though!! But I guess its for your mom so I see why. Never seen a 4door iX in Diamond black.

Nice looking IX. A friend of mine had a Diamond black IX in the mid nineties. It was dropped, and sitting on a set of BBS wheels. Brings back memories.
