Nice car man. What you need to do is see a man about replicating that Mtechnic Grill badge and selling them on the forum. I'd easily pay a pretty penny for it.

Yes, all original interior. The original owner used BMW seat vests, thank goodness. So the BMW M technic badges are NLA? I thought I remembered, Jack (cactusjacks) having some or having some made.

ya, the badges are NLA. Everyone wants someone to make some repo's, but it's not easy.

So have you resolved the top cover issue? Is it a power or manual roof?

It is a power top but it doesn't work so I have to do it manually. The compartment cover is held down by the motor but since it's not hooked up, the only thing keeping it closed is it's own weight.

mine is too. bracket for the top broke off the motor so I manually open/close mine. Boot lid works fine, just doesn't close all the way

Use the power top to close the boot lid it will latch it once it's down. Hold th switch to close and It will get sucked into place opposite the opening procedure.

The Ex's auto the top part was broken as well the Boot cover was not. There is a stronger lift for the top available in Germany on ebay.de

                                My powertop is broken too.

I bought a latch that locks the top cover from a manual and installed it on the drivers side. Then just just a screwdriver to pop the latch open. As far as folding the top, they're just no good way to explain it w/o pics.
