Got the new MAP sensor in.

Apparently, we banged the valve cover on the firewall, it is leaking. :(

So I got a new one with gaskets.

Everything the PO touched was a mess at best, he replaced the fuel pump.

Got a DW 300 for the BMW.

Finally got a new file from Active, car feels good, waiting to get a response on the log to be certain it is running happily.

The Innovate MAP sensor shit the bed, reads 43.8 pounds at all times.

Just drove 40 minutes each way to drop the M vent panels at the body shop, he said he needs the car to paint them, I said I thought you could figure the color, that's why I came in the car. He looked me dead in the eye, said do you know what color this is? I said Atlanta Blau metallic #306? He said NO! It is NIGHTMARE BLUE. I need the car.

I left them so he can start the preparation & will drop it off in a week or 2 when it is absolutely too hot to drive.

Logs show weird MAF fluctuation so I replaced the intake hoses with smoother/less twists.

Thanks, latest hurdle is getting logs to send the tuner. It's not seen by the software.

Motor is "done" all is well & it is amazing!

First oil change, magnetic drain plug did a good job, surprisingly clean considering it's a new motor.

I know it is a waste but sending a sample to Blackstone.
