yep, i had all kinds of plans for the car when i bought it 3 years ago... then it sat for a year or so, now i drive it every day again...
when i first put the cage in i always got asked why i didnt just start with a 2 door if i was going to waste the back doors like that... i just pretended like i knew something they didnt.
although someone at the bear mountain meet did tell me that its a better race car since its got a longer wheel base than the coupe!
haha i guess they stick out far enough huhsigpicComment

x2 that drives me nuts. Reminds me of a puckered bung hole when you see a sink hole you cant avoid. lol
O'rly? ;) Might want to check that, lol. They are stiffer by having a centered B pillar and the C-Pillar as a door jamb. I know that.sigpicComment

w/b is exactly the same. If rear door was welded it would make a nice super stiff platform.Comment

yep thats what we are sayin... i just let the guy tell me, he was like 50 or so and well set in his way
sometimes im happier knowing what i know rather then telling someone what i knowsigpicComment

I think the "coupes" look much better. I actually think it much cleaner, more streamline looking. Anyway the four door is too "bunched" up for my liking.
Having said that. 2 doors and passengers don't mix, which is fucking annoying. I've actually taken my back seat out so vat least I can fit my bike in the back ..and that's a bloody tight squeeze!
I really want to get a 4dr Mk1 Golf for a DD :)Comment

4 doors can look good depends on how you fix/build it. get a 4 door if that's what you need. This is my previous car before I sold it.

wow, that looks fantastic. the simplicity of the euro bumper conversion and the bbs's makes it look a million times nicer. in ds this would be perfect.:pimp:

i love 4-doors... to me, they have more character and they're easier to balance out aesthetically. it's also great to roll around with 3 or 4 friends and 'stunt' lol. i do have two of them though, so my next car will prob be a 2-door.
