4-Door e30's.....are they less desirable?

Kind of a 'silly' question if you will, but im slated to buy another e30, and i found another mauritiusblau sedan, its a 88. for some odd reason, i am kind of NOT feeling it. but, can anyone show me some 'nice' four doors? i already have a e34 so maybe thats why i'm not too thrilled about it.

also, can the 'older' taillights be switched out for the newer ones?

with a welder and some time, anything can be switched out.-- easily switched-- no.

I think it is a pure personal prefrence thing-- but for me-- its deep rooted-- 4 doors are parts cars-- how it is for classic cars too.

4 door cars can look nice too though.

And no, older (early model) taillamps cannot be swapped for newer (late model) lamps.

4 doors can definitely hold there own. But seems to be late model cars that can pull it off.

It's all in the eye of the beholder. If you need practicality of a 4 door get one, if you don't and that is the best one you can find go ahead and buy it. All the toys from an iS will go on any lowly 4 door wench.

I like 4 doors, have 1.

In my mind all E30s are 4 doors. 2 doors actually look odd to me, wierd huh?

It really doesn't matter either way IMO. Get whatever car you can that's in the best condition, a clean 4 door is going to look nicer than a beat 2 door. Also, I only like early tails if they are MHW/startec smoked. I hate stock or all red early tails. I don't like all red tails in general though..

I love the four doors - biased, I know;) I like how much stiffer they feel, and the weight penalty is very low (ballpark 40lbs).
