great stuff! pardon my ignorance, but shouldn't you be crossing your hands to try and keep two hands at 9 and 3?

I'm shuffle steering for the most part. Crossing hands is generally a no-no, but I've also been told not to shuffle steer on track by one person... however I've spent years getting into that habit (autox) so it's hard to break. I also generally use 10 and 2 since that's where the grip points on the mtech-2 wheel are. Slow steering ratios just make everything a challenge, 4 turns L to L sucks. :(

nope, stock E30 rack. the sad thing is I realized for what my brand new ix rack cost, I could have modified an E36 M3 rack to fit.. doh!

well its a choice upgrade since you track and auto-x! how much do brand new racks cost...like $500??

it was about $500 in 2007, I think they are $1200 now.
