It's a shame that the borla off of my M42 setup is just 2 inch.-Josh

Oh and btw, the engine is in. Fitting it with the headers and tranny already on is a royal PITA.
And the E28 is feeling unloved with all the parts stacked on the cover.
and then the fun begins tomorrow and this weekend hooking everything back up, fabbing the exhaust, etc.Originally posted by BillBraskyE36's are the Stephen Baldwin of the 3 series family. They barely hold everything together and they only sold a lot because of the popularity of their older sibling.

Well the car is running, but having some issues. Coolant gauge seems to be inop and the cooling system refuses to bleed. Seems like the thermostat isn't opening or the water pump isn't circulating.
Other than that, the car ran great! No leaks and fired up the first time with no issues.Originally posted by BillBraskyE36's are the Stephen Baldwin of the 3 series family. They barely hold everything together and they only sold a lot because of the popularity of their older sibling.

Using M42 Radiator and no I haven't used the E30 temp sender. Thinking that may be the case. Do you have to pull the intake Manifold to get at it?Originally posted by BillBraskyE36's are the Stephen Baldwin of the 3 series family. Right on man. yeah same here but busy with school and getting my car goin how i want.
m42 rad is a pain to bleed. make sure the cars cold, start it turn the heat on high open the bleed screw on the rad. rev the motor to like 2-3k rpm till you get coolant out the bleed screw. It took me a few cycles to get mine bled.
Ehh, its a lot easier to get that sender out with the intake off but it is doable with it on. find a mirror and a good light lol. Im pretty sure you can fit a deep well socket over the whole sender which makes life easier...-ChrisComment
