I have startec tails, so use that as a reference...smoked seems to be the verdict...how can I source smoked ambers? or would clear smokes look better?

I did all the hard work for you, and I'd go with MHW smoked. It's also what I'm rocking.

              stick with orange!

And cut open those oil cooler slots on the valance, not only does it look better it actually helps cool the engine down... :p

Going for smoked amber...we'll see if it looks good in person.

As far as the valence goes, I'll have to time the cutting right before it goes back to the painter to get repaired. There was some cracking for some reason that he needs to fix, not to mention the many rock dings it sustained from regular trips to the ski hill (I'm sorry, James...I promise I won't subject it to that treatment next year).

Now my question is why would BMW mount a valence on an original M-tech car w/ the holes uncut? It came on Andy's car this way...

Reid, smoked clear, with amber LED signals.

BTW, if you happen to be in gig Harbor tomorrow night, pop in the Saloon. Me and Parker will be shooting the pool tournament.

Because some cars ie Eta's did not have oil coolers so if the person bought it new and added it at a later date they had the option of having holes cut.

My nib unit does not have holes cut either. Another has the top cut and one has the bottom cut...so it's a matter of preference but I would suggest cutting a hole for some airflow.

Smoked clears, then smoke your smileys and cut the oil cooler vents.
