Yeah, the plate doesn't help with clearance either. Even if I dropped it down some, I'm running out of travel on my front struts, guess I need to cut the tubes and run corrado struts.

Yeah the PS picture makes it look pretty bad ass, I would love for it to be that low.

Went to the alignment shop today and they got my front camber to about -1.5*, what is everyone else running? I would rather have more camber as the front looked better. Before it was aligned, I was at about -3.0*

I'll go out and snap a picture of my skid plate with the car on the driveway.

      Sold.......again.

My pan is about 2.5 inches off the ground and I plan on going lower if my wheels allow.

Are you on stock length struts or did you cut your tubes and run shorter struts?

Just went out and measured and my skidplate is a little under 2 1/4" from the ground (2 3/16" to be exact). I would like to lower it down some more, but I'm just worried I'd damage my shocks by doing this. I have the front bumpstops on, but I cut them in half.

            Sold.......again.

what kind of hassle were you getting with the paint/body shop? i got a sterling silver too and those guys tell me silver is the most difficult color to lay down, therefore they want more of my money.

Im running GC and bilie sports. I dont have any bump stop between the shock and the camber plate. I think Im actually riding on the bump stop thats in the shock. I have never bottom out and hit the camber plate once.
Im running no skid plate either and Im sure my roads are a shit load worse then yours. Slam that shit down, if you scrape skid plate who cares. Isnt that what you bought it for??

Funny you say that, my dad's been painting for a little over 30 years and he told me that sterling silver is one of the hardest colors to paint. Honestly it's the trash, even the slightest amount of trash in the color or the clear, you can see it from a mile away.

It's not the skid plate I'm worried about hitting, it's destroying the shocks if I lower it more in the front.

I'm on stock springs and struts. I'm putting in GC's with some kyb's this week to go lower.

The skid plate is actually the reason I broke my last one..
