There was no more clear proof as I saw a battle of 240sx's at D1.... SR vs LS1. The LS1 had 500whp on tap at any given RPM range. That car drove like it had it's own drift button. And that's still like barely pushing the motor.
A CA that competes with that LS1 would need to have twice the money invested, and would be like a crack addict on the edge of a massive breakdown. You'd be running C16, possibly methanol, you'd need a huge turbo so you'd only make 500whp on your last half of the tach RPMs, making the car stupid hard to drive around a track.
