          Thats unreal, my 3200lb 2wd 4.0 gets 17mpg mixed and 21-22 at best doing 70mph on the highway.

              I love my XJ. It is going to get a new lift this weekend. 22mpg is right with stock wheels. Your vert getting 18mpg is the problem.
