    My new DD..........

    1988 325 auto

Gonna leave the 4Runner at the house as much as possible and I will be driving this. She has 142k and I picked it up from a co-worker of my brothers. He was in some financial trouble, he drove this for 3 years and the auto tranny died. He sold it to me for $200. She runs like a sewing machine. She needed some TLC, a new muffler and for my sanity i am putting on a new TB, WP, tensioner, front main seal, valve cover gasket, thermostat and a fresh tuneup. Lucky for me my dad had a tranny out of a 91' 325i auto out of a wrecked car laying around. While tranny was out I did the rear main seal. Got a bit more work to do but she will be a nice DD.

    enjoy!

I've got enough b-weaves to keep Uganda on the road. Keep me in mind when you are looking.

Every day I wake up we drink a lot of coffee and watch the CNN
Every day I wake up to a bowl of clover honey and let the locusts fly in.
      Lobsterbacks attack the town again
Wrap all my things in aluminum
Beams of darkness streak across the sky
Pink rays from the ancient satellite
Every time I look out my window same three dogs looking back at me.
Every time I open my windows cranes fly in to terrorize me.

I have done it on honda's before. if it is easier than those then yes. Just need to price out what a good used tranny runs, pedal assembly and the related clutch hardware, master etc.

Well I forgot newspapers to fully mask it off but I got the hard job out of the way.

And I went ahead and tried out the duplicolor vinyl/carpet spray and used it on the rear tray, came out great!

Oh and I installed a used rear window today, my first time attempt. Went smoothly, the locking strip was a bit of a pita but it was pretty easy....

I got an Auto. I love it.
Never had a Manual to learn on full time. I did some lessons in a manual but for 60 bucks an hour it just wasnt worth it. Whatever works for you i say:)

looks good just 5spd swap it.you can also do plastic bumper swap since you have a 88 if i am not mistaken, bump your chrome bumpers look in really good shape so i would keep them.

I am sure the answer is probobally no, but I am just gonna ask. I was planning on driving it for awhile before I did the 5spd swap, but I just realized that @ my dads place we had a parts car we bought for my brothers old 318. Its a 86ish 320i 5speed. all the 5speed parts are there. Whats the chance the tranny bolts up to the M20?

This might annoy some of you guys, lol, but I figured I would show you all some pics in sequence of my painting the interior parts with the Duplicolor fabric/vinyl paint. The last pic doesn't show up because of my shop lights but they are fully covered and look factory and brand new......
