Dont let friends drive the E30

The day started off well, since I was slightly intoxicated I ask my roommate to drive us in my car to the bar.


So Five of us pile into the car, two miles down the road he tries a 4k clutch dump. Cue the horrible sound of an Advanced Auto half-shaft shattering. So we just started drinking and left the car till the morning,

This is how we limped it back.


Getting passed @ 8mph.



Finally Home




Long story short advanced is replacing the axle under warrenty and the roommate is doing all the work. I guess I'll be riding the motorcycle for the week. From now on I'm driving!

The only thing that sounds weird in this thread is "Advanced Auto half-shaft". Sounds very Mickey Mouse to me.

I think they have the cheapest E30 rebuild half-shafts--like $70 each?

im with erick on this one, i dump the clutch high in the RPM's all the time, and the rockers go long before the half shafts ;)

when iread that i thought, auto trans and a neutral bomb...
