These photos made me cringe! If only you knew what that tow eye is actually attached to, you wouldn't have towed it like that. All it took would have been a careless application of throttle in the dodge, or a snap lash of the tow rope, and your tow eye, front shock, bumper, and the 1/16" flange that the shock mounts to on the chassis side to come off with the rope.
...ask me how I found out, in a snowstorm.
Actually I did find this out the hard way when the dodge had a slight turbo lag snapping the rope, It just bent the bumper anchor out a bit, but I could see where it could do some big damage. We fixed it with a BFH.
