That is just a stock late model plastic bumper.

This car sees regular abuse, its run hard on the auto-x. The reason for the advanced shaft is a botched rear wheel bearing removal, damaging the original shaft. I needed a quick fix, and it had a warrenty. Obviously it is not as robust as OE BMW. Lesson learned.

Driver wasn't drunk at all, just being an aforementioned ass. All in good fun. Its M30 swap time anyway so the diff is getting changed.

I let me friend drive mine the other day and he scraped into a curb leaving a nice rash on the front valence.

Long story short advanced is replacing the axle under warrenty and the roommate is doing all the work. I guess I'll be riding the motorcycle for the week. From now on I'm driving!

If you don't trust his driving, I wouldn't trust his craftsmanship to replace it. Thats just me tho.

Nice, haven't been on a new kawi yet, but they have seemed to of gotten back in the game. New 636 looks to be a monster!



As far as the friends mechanical ability, I'm not worried at all. He is the one that M52 swapped Tabasco's car amongst many other E30 projects and is the lead man on the M30 swap. :p

These photos made me cringe! If only you knew what that tow eye is actually attached to, you wouldn't have towed it like that. All it took would have been a careless application of throttle in the dodge, or a snap lash of the tow rope, and your tow eye, front shock, bumper, and the 1/16" flange that the shock mounts to on the chassis side to come off with the rope.

...ask me how I found out, in a snowstorm.
