    My "new" car

Just signed the papers and got a '92 B13 Sentra SE-R:

Those are the pics the previous owner took....I'll get better ones later. The SR20 motor is stock, but it's running on Motivational Engineering custom coilovers with Eibach springs and Koni adjustables, NX2K front brakes, Momo steering wheel, Stillen SSK, Stillen headers, and a few other goodies. The body is a little banged up and the paint is peeling (very typical), but I didn't buy it for looks. The car is fast as hell and can outhandle my E30 anyday. It's very well setup and is the only FWD car I've ever driven that slightly oversteers if I go really hot out of a turn.

It feels like I don't care much about my E30 anymore. I scraped the side of it going into the garage and when I saw the damage, I really didn't care. Figured if that didn't piss me off, it may be time to move on. I've even finished the 5-lug for the front last Friday but haven't finished the rear:

Unfortunately, I just lost interest in the car and it'll probably sit for quite some time. I don't have the motivation for it anymore...it'll get done eventually, but I suppose it got bumped from the priority list. In the meantime, I'll be enjoying my beater; who knows, maybe I'll do a DET conversion later.

oh my god those wheels on the bimmer are sick as all hell. i banged my trim up coming into my garage, too. no paint damage, but i just left it until someone comes along who is selling them. the install looks great.
as for the sentra, it's not my thing, but congrats.
I retired my E30 for now...

Those are damn near the sexiest wheels I've ever seen on an E30.

Ok, nevermind, they are the BEST wheels I have ever seen on an E30.

      Sell me your E30.

it's too bad they don't belong on the e30 i wish i could fit a wheel from the HUGE selection you just opened up onto my car. e30s are a PITA to find wheels for.

Meh, the RGQs were really anti-climactic. I was expecting to be wowed after they were installed, but I wasn't too impressed with them after I saw it on the car. Whether it's because I overhyped myself, the front end is raised about half an inch from the new Bilsteins, or because the 16" Hock R's are still on the rear, I thought it would look better.

I was originally planning to run E36 328is 16" Sport wheels for a few weeks, and strangely enough, I really liked the way those looked:

The net offset was +31 and it rubbed the hell out of the struts with a 15mm spacer, so I took em off and swapped em with the RD's, which have a 23mm offset after the 15mm spacer. Looks kinda like mini M-Parallels.

Let me get this straight? you are going for a 2002 tii fwd clone? Instead of a balanced rwd car with decent brakes now?

Hey to each their own. Sorry you are bored with your scoot. My suggestion, park it in rear of shop and come back to it in 4 months. If you still don't like it sell it.

B13 SE-R's are awesome cars, have fun with it. I don't think they were ever sold up here.

Well, bottom line, the SE-R is much more balanced than my E30, not to mention it's lighter, has better steering feel, and better turn-in. I know people don't want to hear it, especially considering the drivetrain and country of origin of the car, but what gets me is how good the Nissan feels versus how bad my E30 drives. I'm not saying the SE-R outhandles and outdrives all E30s, but it can run circles around my E30. It makes me sad too, TJ.

Greg, I'm pretty much doing what you're suggesting, I'm leaving the E30 in the garage with a cover on it. I'll give it to another shop to have the engine work done in a few weeks, and if I get it back in good running condition and still feel the same then it's gonna be up for grabs.

LOL, I saw a few impressive B13s like that one over on the SR20 forums. Who owns that one?

Gosh Fred, I would love to own your car. Any idea on what you would be selling it for? If it were far enough down the line, maybe I could manage to get enough together.

Sorry, just can't go back to a front driver. As a winter beater sure, but for a daily nope can't do.

Besides the 318iS, I feel out handles the SE-R now don't get me wrong they are fun cars but most are also getting up there in mileage. So I would rather have a BMW than a older Nissan. I drove Japanese cars while I was stationed in Japan and I agree nothing wrong with them.

I just can't stand cheap plastic interiors, why I can't buy a WRX Sti or a Saabru.
