Is that still at The Local downtown? I live up in Marietta, but dropped by there one night a few weekends back and didn't see any e30s in the lot...

Looks all too familiar. Wurth has a good shadowline spray. I used that on my 85 back in the day. Don't forget about the door/body trim and the rear pop out windows."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

Ok, its been a while since I posted but I've been gradually doing things when I have some time.
First Off is an interior pic of the stripe I bought from L (ZM...)
Next on the list was cleaning up under the bonnet. Degreased the shit out of it, and wiped down everything, Adam (member here) can attest to the cleanliness. :D I got bored yesterday and the valve cover looked like crap so I decide to pull it and give it some fresh paint.
First time I painted it, there was a good bit of solvent pop, so I stripped it back down to metal and gave it another shot. This time I painted it, and sanded down the embossed part back down to metal and ended up scratching the paint on parts I didnt want to, so I taped off the embossed part (HUGE pita), and sprayed the entire thing again. Removed the taped and cleared the cover so that I'm not constantly fighting having the metal rust. I was tempted to paint it another color, or to leave it black and not sand the embossed part, but I'm happy with how it looks, no matter what you hookers think :D
PS the valve trays, cams, etc have terrible buildup so yea....
Also painted the "hitch" black..
E92 M3...

Travis... Loving you car! It hits so close to home...mine is near identical: '87 delphin manual 325is, full BMP body kit, original natur/whatever color tan interior. Just figured I'd throw it out there. Only aesthetic difference I'm seeing on your end is your hitch :)
Mine's just different in a few subtle ways... Bosch Smileys, full black leather interior swap (got some vaders sitting in the basement), and a recently added 5-lug setup with DS-II's. Then there's the 24v swap...
We should run into each other at the Local some time and snap a few pictures.
