New wheels, new pics. IX content

    Snapped a couple pics yesterday. keskin ktn5 16x7.5 et20 and 16x9 et15
Had to trim some of the plastic on the rear flares and roll the fenders. Fronts didn't need any work.

        Thats not a volvo lip. . . . It's a rieger lip.

Car is looking good man. I don't care for the wheels, but it's clean and you rock what you like.

Nice looking car. Might be best stance/wheel fitment, iX category.

Exhaust has some issues, maybe? Seems droopy from pics.

Can we get some actual side shots?

thanks for all the compliments. exhaust is droopy:( middle bracket needs rewelded. It's getting fixed along with the power steering pump in a couple of days.

about the closest I have to a side shot...

any closeups of the rear fitment? my rear lips are trimmed in a similar way. Curious to see how much room there is, it almost looks like a 225 would fit back there no problem.

                    Looks really good.

However, I always thought you weren't supposed to run a staggered setup on an AWD car.

I meant to take some when we were out. I'll get some for you as soon as I get a chance. I really don't think I could go much bigger...there was actually bump inside the fender well that was rubbing. I had to tap it in with a hammer slightly. Kinda hard to explain.

The stagger isn't the problem, it's running different overall diameter tires. I honestly wasn't sure if running 205/45 on a 7.5 and a 9 were going to end up with the same diameter (couldn't find anything by searching). Comparing the wheels side by side the overall diameter is pretty much exactly the same.

do you have to replace the front driveshaft rubber boots often because the car is lowered ?
That was an issue I always had back in the days with my lowered ix
