If you didn't try to get to 130 you gonna get R3V slapped.
On the srs, I bet that car is awesome to drive. I love the wheels too, they seriously kick ass (literally).
The interior shot is victorious, but you know what would make it better? Sanding down all the paint completely and sealing it.
The wheels are stock mk2 vw steelies with vw center caps. Lol. Oh yeah, with 25mm spacers all around.
I'm not really sure what I want to do with the body. I originally had a pretty strict plan, but that have drastically changed. I guess you'll just have to stay tuned and find out.
Again, thank you guys for all the positive feedback. I wasn't sure how you would all react to it. It's pretty unconventional. But, that's me in a nutshell.

Alright, I've done a few more things to it recently.
I've:
Mounted the hood
Ordered, painted, and installed Foglight Blanks
Painted and installed brake ducts
Ordered, painted, and installed iS lip
Wired and mounted Mishimoto 16" pusher fan
Cleaned the engine bay
Did another photoshoot
Dynoed the car at DB Performance in Rogers, MN
Ordered and installed rear anti-rattle clips
Performed a garage alignment
Found miscellaneous rattles
Installed door panels and rear panels
Found a better place to mount my gauge for now
Installed the rest of the dash and center console

Thanks to Kris and Jess Clewell @ MotionBlur Photography for the awesome pics

That engine bay is a serious piece of art. Love the rest of the car though. What are the future plans?Comment

I am going to do a few more small things this year, but then I will shift my focus to my Jetta coupe. Near the end of winter or early spring, I will pull the engine again and shave the bay even more. Rebuild the engine and cross my fingers for 350hp at the wheels. Dry sump will be a must.
I also want to pull the interior again and lay out carpet and install the cage, seats, and harnesses. I would like to find a black headliner and put that in, despite all the horror stories I have read about it. I'm confident that I can handle it.
I will also be reupholstering the door cards with black. I am redoing the gauge cluster.
I need a new hood, sunroof, doors, and boot, because they are all in the beginning stages of rust. Damn Midwest.
I need to order wheels and tires, and have them mounted. I need to finish the bodywork and paint it. I;m shaving the roundel off of the hood and boot. HIDS.
Just tons of random stuff. The car is a huge project that I'm not in a hurry to finish. It gives me a reason to go to the shop. It keeps me out of trouble. And I love it.
