new tails

here are some updated photos.

got the tails of a car that one of the guys at the shop has. POS but thought i would try out the painted tails. i think i will take mine back, paint them all red, and then do a SLIGHT tint on them. alot nicer then this.

i like the look of properly painted tails. i cant really tell the quality of yours but from the pics it looks good!

They look like they need some polishing. Too dark IMO and prolly illegal.

yeah thats what i was thinking. i was gunna polish them but I had to get ready to move out here to santa cruz for college so maybe in the next few weeks. i have had a few cops on my tail out here and they havent said anything yet so I am lucky so far.

Too dark. When it comes to DIY tails, I think less is more. They look good with just enough tint.

Definitely too dark. You could wet sand them and they might come out just right.

thanks you guys, yeah a little too dark, I am going to wet sand them and do a good coat of clear coat just to make them right but I dont know, what do you guys think about the whole red out the yellows, then tint idea? i think it looks better, not to much tint just a little to make it noticeably darker and sexier!

any thoughts on that?

I like them but they are to dark need a puffing then they are golden.
