picked up the rs' for 1100 then had them redrilled/ polished.

Love when theres a 15 year bump and the car is still around... are you still in CA? What tracks are you taking the car to?? Still M42 or something else?

Same! stoked to be able to post about this car... still! Still in CA, headed to Chuckwalla Valley Raceway next weekend - Sat/Sun for bimmer challenge, racing in B5. I usually go to CVR, Buttonwillow, and Willow Springs. (Auto Club Speedway too before it was demolished.)

Anyone else going to CVR next weekend with Speed Ventures?

And yes, still the same M42 that the car was originally built with. Never been cracked open and running like a champ. Only have done routine maintenance, all gaskets, fluids, cooling system, coil on plug conversion, timing chain tensioner, and Conforti chip. Otherwise it's just a strong, healthy, stock M42.
