Negative. You most definitely have a Lachsilber car. Something is wrong on your end. But thats okay, you can call it whatever color you want.

I actually did some research and OP could very well be right. But the thing is, his car could have very well have been re-painted Lachs as it does not have the richness in color as the Granite-silber does.
