                Thanks I just bought it in the last few days for practically free from a friend who knew I needed a project.

                  I actually did some research and OP could very well be right. But the thing is, his car could have very well have been re-painted Lachs as it does not have the richness in color as the Granite-silber does.

                          I saw a true granite silver e36 2 nights ago, color code 237, and it seemed different.
