i actually havent got that far into the build to decide on headers as of yet. The M52 block is stripped and will be at Budlongs machine shop for a rebuild and the M20 is soon going to have a "Free to good home sign on it."

Thank you Sean Dysphagia for all your time and patience with my stupid questions. You are awesome and together but we got the motor out in 6 hours. Thank you to Turbo Dan as well for letting me use your hoist for the second time.

I have a cracked valve cover. Can some one tell me if there is any difference in going to a m50 valve cover instead of the m52?

update: just bought another complete engine!

m50 OBD1 with all the damn parts I need to covert mine plus all the dress up parts mine was missing for 300 bucks!I paid damn near that for a oil pan and sump lol. The car is in Denver so Ill go get it Wednesday.

Drove 1100 miles round trip for the new motor and it was worth it, m50 with every accessory and sensor. Picked up a mint e36 power steering rack as well. Ill post pics later tonight.
