A little progress

Removed the dash, the heater core and the rest of the air conditioning lines. Got rid of the air bag stuff. The M50 has been stripped of its head and all accesories which will be on the m52 as soon as all the gaskets I ordered get here. The obd1 valve cover is at plating at the moment. New rims will be here wednesday and I will be learning to weld here in a few days!

Got a call from the nickel plater that the m50TU valve cover is magnisium and there for cannot be plated so it will instead have to be powder coated. Oh well. So here it is after a dip in some chemicals that stripped the finish off and its will be coated in Ballsdeep Pink.



Stopped by Sandia where thanks to Turbo Dan I have a whole box full of new BMW gaskets.
